Why is coconut oil not good for the face?
coconut oil on the coast, and for good reason, it is full of benefits. Good for the health, for the line, for the hair, for the nails, etc, it is however not advised on the skin, and in particular on that of the face, contrary to what some claim.
Not the best skin oil
We often hear about coconut oil as a beneficial oil for the skin. It moisturizes the skin of the face and gives it back radiance and freshness, softness and suppleness. Yet it would seem that coconut oil, while not radically damaging the skin of the face, is not the best oil to use for this purpose.
Indeed, it tends to dry the skin of people who have a combination of skin to oily, and is not the best in the fight against free radicals responsible for aging skin. It is therefore much better to opt for another oil, argan for example, for a real hydration, effective and without counter-effect!
To forget in case of acne
For oily skin and acne, coconut oil is prohibited. Indeed, skin prone to acne and imperfections must not be covered with highly comedogenic products. Avoid daily use of coconut oil on the face in this case, because it is an oil with an index of 4 (out of 5) in terms of comedogenicity (argan oils and lawyer, for example, have her index of 0).
